What a lovely review. I’m humbled yet thrilled. Go see what Susan has to say about her other reviews.

Thrice again, Pamela Beckford captures love in all its intricate forms in this, her third solo poetry publication, “Love Aflame.”

“Love Aflame” takes the reader to every level, every form, every interpretation, and every emotion that could possible exist between lovers. As in her two previous poetry books, “Dreams of Love” and “Love: Lost & Found,” the poems are arranged such that if savored and read in order, the reader comes away with a love story. Conversely, each poem can stand alone as individual works that need no others to bookend it.

Her titles are well-thought out, skillfully descriptive, and temptingly provocative: “Igniting Flames,” “Edge of Ecstasy,” “Intoxicating Scent,” “On the Shelf”, “Do You Ever?”, and “Vulnerable,”. Each is touching and formidable, alluring and tempting invitations for readers to savor the verse.

And, what verse! Pamela…

Thank You

A special thank you to two lovely ladies who promoted my book, Love Aflame, today.

Andra Watkins is one of my favorite authors. I admire her so much for what she has accomplished. She not only wrote a book about Meriwether Lewis, but then she walked the Natchez Trace and wrote about that. She is a remarkable author.

Katie Sullivan is a delightful blogger and author. Her book, Changelings: Into the Mist was released a short time ago. I fell in love with her characters and can’t wait for her next book.

Both of these ladies are worth following. Check them out.

Love Aflame is HERE!!!!!!
Love Aflame is a collection of poems illustrating how the heart can be set on fire by love. It smolders and burns and, in some cases, the fire goes out leaving a scarred heart. This is a collection of over 50 poems using various poetic forms that will make you feel strong emotions.

I have put my soul into every poem and left pieces with the reader. I write poetry for those who don’t normally read poetry. I encourage lovers to share with each other these poems – read them aloud, leave the poems on your lover’s pillow.

The paper book will be available in a few days, but for now the Kindle version is available for download just in time for Valentine’s Day and your special celebration.

Merci, Gracias, Thank You

Sorry, that’s the extent of me being bi-lingual. I know, pretty lame. But I do want to say a heartfelt thank you to the following bloggers for posting about Love Aflame today.

If you don’t follow these particular bloggers, you should check them out – they are all great people. And if you still would like to participate in my blog blast (which will conclude on 2/4), please send me an email to pamela984 at yahoo dot com.

Kirsten – besides being a great friend, Kirsten is a poet herself and a very talented lady

Bette Stevens – Bette is an author herself and just released Dog Bone Soup last week – check it out!

Charles Yallowitz – Charles is the very talented author of the Legends of Windermere series and dedicated supporter of all bloggers/writers.

Helena Hann-Basquiat – Helena is everyone’s favorite dilettante and author of Memoirs of a Dilettante Volume One (with Volume Two coming soon!) and has a close connection to Jessica B. Bell, horror writer.

Seriously, check these wonderful people out – they will entertain you and amuse you for days, weeks, a lifetime.
