Flirt (triquain)

Flirtatious
Seductive eyes and smile
His body language says he wants me
Will he kiss me? Will he tease me? Will he touch me?
Dare I look up at him? Dare I hope?
A laugh, a wink, a smile
Flirting fun

Well, that’s it for NaPoWriMo. My poems will not be posted with such regularity as I continue to work on a new extensive collection of love poems.

Thank you again

One more thank you to everyone who participated in our blog tour for Voices of Nature. We are so grateful for your willingness to spread the news.

Stars Above (alouette)

Starry nights shine bright
Thousands of wee lights
Constellations light the sky
Darkness shows contrast
While clouds have gone past
Suspended in time up high

Pisces and Leo
Taurus and Virgo
Constellations light the sky
Sagittarius
Libra, Pegasus
Worlds of tiny lights float by

Today’s poem is from Voices of Nature co-authored with Kirsten. Check out our book.

And don’t forget Dreams of Love – it is a collection of poems for lovers. See reviews here

Voices of Nature Blog Tour Participants

Today is the last day of our blog tour – I hope you have been paying attention to our bloggers this week and showing them some love. I love the blogging community and am thrilled to have met so many wonderful people. I also hope you have taken a few seconds to 1-click Voices of Nature to read.

Kirsten and I are so grateful for everyone who has participated. But we still have a couple more people to thank.

No blog tour would be complete without the lovely and talented Marie at 1WriteWay. I love that Marie is a stray cat magnet because in a former life I was always accused of being the crazy cat lady and I like to think now that I was in excellent company. She is also a knitter and simulposts a blog every Monday morning about 10 things. It is a great way to start my week and I look forward to seeing what they have cooked up that week.

We also have McBee today. Unfortunately, I really don’t know much about him except that he had gotten a message to me that he was going to participate. So, McBee, if you are out there, please let me know what your blog is and I will be happy to give you a shout out another day.

And words cannot express this next blogger. Ionia from ReadfulThings is a avid reader and book reviewer. Her reviews are fair and always alert you to new books you should check out. In addition to being a dear friend, she is supportive of authors everywhere.

Well, that’s it for this week – THANK YOU to everyone who participated. And don’t forget, Voices of Nature is available for Kindle download and in paperback. And if you like it, we would love for you to write a review on Goodreads and Amazon.
