Time for goals and commitments
Will it be weight loss?
Or perhaps more organization.
Time to reflect on needed changes
A new hairstyle?
Or perhaps running a marathon.
Time to move forward with life
Write the next Great American Novel?
Or just a shopping list.
I resolve to make 2014 a New Year
Make the most of every single day
And just get out and live.
No wallowing in self pity
No pointing of fingers
Life will be what I make it
I resolve to end 2014
A better person than I started.
Laugh. Love. Live.
This is a sweet! I find resolutions difficult to make. Actually I find the concept of a new year difficult all around. It’s a me thing.
I was wondering – would you like to write a poem for my site? I would love to feature you. I am not one to write hopeful words. I write what I feel and, well, it seems that most of what comes out is silly or depressing. You have an eye for beautiful and I would love to feature it.
Oh Kimberly I would be honored. Let me think on it a bit today though. Thank you
Sure – take your time – there is no rush:). Here is my email address – kimshoe65@hotmail.com
good poetry is like a good coffee or tea – it needs time to brew and breathe – yikes – cheesy!
I really like this Pamela. Very well done. I agree with what Kimberly said, can’t wait to read you poem on her blog. π
I love this, Pam. Laugh. Love. Live. Absolutely. We could all do with resolving to achieve this. I certainly shall be.
More living, laughing and loving.
Less grumbling, whining, and complaining.
Absolutely. Although I do find whining to be therapeutic on occasion.
As long as it doesn’t become a way of life. For some people it is, you know.
This is very true. I know a few people like that. Not us though π
Reblogged this on Julian Froment's Blog and commented:
Laugh. Love. Live. What an excellent philosophy.
I like these resolutions. You, my dear friend, will have no difficulty living up to them π

Laugh. Love. Live. That’s a great mantra. I will repeat it daily. Thanks for the inspiration π
Have a great day Susan!
